- Calypso at the YWCA The Tinpanic Steel Band will perform at the YWCA of Central Maine’s open house from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept.11. Tinpanic, a 14-piece steel drum orchestra plays calypso and big band selections. The open house, from 1 to 5 p.m., is a celebration of the community’s support of the facility, with activities for the entire family. The YWCA is at 130 East Ave., Lewiston.
