BETHEL – SeniorsPlus, the area agency on aging based in Lewiston, will hold its fourth annual Aging Well Living Well expo at Sunday River’s Grand Summit Resort on Friday, Sept. 30. It provides a day of experiencing “aging well,” with activities and workshops in Sunday River’s beautiful setting.

Participants may attend workshops and events inside and have a special opportunity to ride Sunday River’s “Chondola” to view the fall foliage from the top of the mountain. Keynote speaker Connie Jones, community services director of SeniorsPlus, will kick-off the day at 9:15 with “Aging Well: 50 Things to Do Before I Die!”

The day is an opportunity to learn important information such as caregivers’ legal considerations, the basics of Medicare, the basics of reverse mortgages and “What’s happening to my body as it ages,” as well as opportunities to try new skills such as photo walk, Zumba, water aerobics or greeting card creations.

A large raffle auction will be held, with all proceeds going to Meals on Wheels.

Registration is $20 per person which includes all activities and meals. Transportation from Lewiston is available at an additional cost, if needed.
