Retired teachers
HARRISON — OCEA-R retired teachers will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at Bolsters Mills Community Church, Bolsters Mills Road.
The business meeting will be held at 11 a.m. followed by lunch and the program “Teacher Retirement, Where to Go from Here?” There will also be a book sale.

Chicken pie supper
BOLSTERS MILLS — The next-to-last “famous” chicken pie supper will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church. Seatings are at 5 and 6 p.m.; a third seating will follow as needed. $8 adults, $4 children under the age of 12. Handicap accessible; air-conditioned.
Supper includes chicken pie, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, rolls, homemade dessert and beverages.

Church history
HEBRON — Historian Ben Conant will detail the 220-year history of the Hebron Community Baptist Church at its 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, Sept. 18. The public is invited.
Food pantry
OTISFIELD — The Food Pantry will be open from from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Spurrs Corner Church, Route 121. Bean supper
NORWAY — A public bean supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Norway Masonic Hall, 9 Temple St.
Menu includes four types of homemade beans, hot dogs, cole slaw, bread, beverages and homemade pies, all you can eat. Adults $7, children under 12 $4.
