- Firefighters from multiple agencies in Western Maine joined family and friends in saying a final farewell to 40-year volunteer firefighter Tim Frost on Thursday. Frost, a lifelong resident of Dixfield, was remembered for his constant presence in town, often waving to residents and assisting in daily functions at the Dixfield Fire Department. The family expressed gratitude to the Dixfield Firemen’s Auxiliary and Thibault Funeral Home for offering financial support for the funeral arrangements.
