RUMFORD — Adam Conley and Heather Jackson would like to announce their engagement.

Mr. Conley is the son of Paul and Pamela Conley of South Carthage. He is a 1991 graduate of Jay High School.

Miss Jackson is the daughter of Robert Bernard of Poland and Bonnie and the late Frank Bulger of Rumford. She is a 2008 graduate of Poland Spring Academy.

The couple has been together seven-and-a-half years. They have picked a Bruins theme for their wedding, because hockey is something they both have a strong interest in and are big fans of the Boston Bruins.

An Oct. 1 wedding is planned. Following the wedding, they will attend the first two home games of the Boston Bruins as part of their honeymoon.
