MEXICO — The Police Department responded to the following incidents: Criminal mischief

* On Sept. 17 at 3:55 p.m. a Carlton Avenue resident reported their vehicle was keyed. Estimated damage was $200. Police have no leads.

Theft

* On Sept. 16 at 9:19 a.m. a business on Roxbury Road reported the theft of a .45-caliber handgun. The owner believes the gun was taken during the day on Sept. 14. Police have no leads.

Arrest

* Stephen Rudge, 37, of Peru, arrested on a Rumford District Court warrant for unpaid court fees on Main Street on Sept. 8 at 7:26 p.m. Rudge posted $1,660 bail and was released.
