MEXICO — Maine Centers for Women, Work, and Community will hold a free “Credit Yourself Training” from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 26 and Oct. 3, at Region 9 Adult Education.

Topics will be personal financial management, credit and how to use it, creating a spending plan and setting financial goals. These are important steps toward economic self-sufficiency.

Participants who successfully complete the class and make a financial plan will be eligible to apply for a $250 grant to help meet financial goals. Ten grants will be awarded statewide.
