DIXFIELD — Police responded to 23 incidents from Sept. 20 t0 Sept. 27.

Among these incidents were:

Theft

* On Sept. 23 at 1:15 p.m. Dirigo High School reported the theft of a student’s Mac Book laptop. The student reported last seeing it on Sept. 22. The student was not sure where the laptop was taken from. Police have no leads.

*On Sept. 19 at 9 a.m. Dirigo High School reported the theft of a student’s Mac Book laptop. The student reported she had placed the laptop in the girls locker room on Sept. 18 during a field hockey game and the laptop was gone when she returned. Police have no leads.

Criminal threatening

* On Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. a North Street resident reported her ex-boyfriend had threatened bodily harm to her over the phone. Police obtained enough information to warrant an arrest but were unable to locate the suspect.

Arrest

* Matthew Welch, 21, of Mexico was arrested on charges of domestic criminal threatening on Cumberland Street in Rumford on Sept. 22 by Officer Lawrence Winson. Charges stemmed from an incident on North Street on Sept. 20.

* Catherine Desimone, 22, of Phillips, was charged with possession of marijuana on Sept. 26 at 6:40 p.m. on Route 142 by Officer Lawrence Winson. A usable amount of marijuana was located in her vehicle during a traffic stop.
