- On Friday, Sept. 30, singer-songwriter and guitarist Paddy Mills will perform at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston. At 22, Mills apprenticed with a natural foods chef on Monhegan Island. When he wasn’t cooking, he’d sit on the rocks above the sea and play guitar. Only the call of the road could lure him away, he said. And, it is this tension between his rural roots and wanderlust that have come to define his music. The show will begin at 8 p.m. No cover charge. Guthries is at 115 Middle St.
