- An employee with Bowman Construction dismantles the old Canton Dam on Whitney Brook in Canton on Friday. The town took control of the old dilapidated dam in 2008. Bowman Construction was hired to build a new dam, which is scheduled to be completed by January. The project is being financed, in part, by a $500,000 federal grant.
