- Leavitt Area High School students, from left, Greta Castonguay, Dalton Bouchless and Taren McGray attended Dirigo Boys State and Dirigo Auxiliary Girls State this year to learn how state, county and town governments function. They attended town meetings, gained leadership skills and drafted bills. The American Legion departments in Greene, Leeds and Turner, South Paris, Buckfield and Jay were sponsors.
