Book sale
FAYETTE — There will be a book sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Underwood Memorial Library, 2006 Main Street. There will be adult fiction and paperbacks. Donations are greatly appreciated.
Legion supper
LIVERMORE FALLS — George Bunten Post 10 American Legion will hold a public supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at 17 Reynolds Ave. Adults $7 and children under 13 $4.
Masonic supper
WILTON — A public supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Hall, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, to benefit the Masonic Building Fund. The menu will be baked ham, scalloped potatoes, vegetables, dinner rolls, assorted homemade pies and beverages. $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Revival meetings
FARMINGTON — The New Hope Baptist Church, 268 Perham St., will host evangelist Tom Palmer for special revival meetings on Sundays, Oct. 16 and 23, at 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., as well as Monday through Friday, Oct. 17-21, at 7 each night. His daughter and son-in-law will be joining him and there will be special meetings for the teens and children throughout the week
Palmer is an evangelist who is involved in full-time revival ministry. In recent years, he has conducted numerous meetings in churches, Christian schools and camps. To learn more about his ministry, go to palmerrevival.org.
