Masonic open house
NORWAY — An open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Oxford Lodge, 9 Temple St. Learn more about Freemasonry, including the Scottish Rite, the Shriners and the Order of Eastern Star for ladies. There will be tours of the Lodge Hall, as well as information about becoming Freemasons. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. Contact Jason Powers at 807-1458 for more information.
Library winter hours
PARIS — The Hamlin Memorial Library will again offer its winter checkout period beginning on Saturday, Oct. 15. Any books borrowed from the library on or after the 15th will not be due back until April 3.
The library will have winter hours this year instead of closing completely through the winter. It will be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Nov. 2 through the end of March. The library will continue to be open during regular business hours through Nov. 1: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Regular hours will resume in April.
