Cribbage begins
JAY — Cribbage will begin Sunday, Oct. 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the VFW #3335 hall. Games will run through the winter.
Halloween party
CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Halloween Party is being planned under the direction of Glenda Barker and is sponsored the North Chesterville Extension Homemakers. This year the Halloween party will be held on Monday, Oct. 31, at the Chesterville Town Office on the Dutch Gap Road beginning at 6 p.m.
There will be hayrides to the haunted house, a costume parade, games and refreshments. This event is free, and the public is invited. For more information, call 778-3156.
Breakfast
FARMINGTON — There will be an “early bird” breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Henderson Memorial Baptist Church. The tickets cost $5. There will also be a bake sale of pies, cupcakes, bars and more. All are welcome.
Homemakers meet
INDUSTRY — Clearwater Extension Homemakers members will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Shorey Chapel Church. The Rotary Christmas project will be on the agenda. Everyone is welcome to attend. For more information, call 778-6780.
