BRUNSWICK — The Miss Maine Day Pageant was held Sept. 25 at the Crooker Theater at Brunswick High School. Four titleholders were crowned.

Brianna Jack, a 7-year-old third grader and daughter of Paul and Billie Jo Jack of Baileyville, was crowned Miss Mini Maine 2011. She performed a ballet dance for her talent. Brianna also won the essay contest and the interview portion of the competition. Renee LaPointe of Van Buren was named Miss Photogenic in that age group.

Ten-year-old fifth grader Sophia Jacques, daughter of Corey and Stephany Jacques of Peru, was crowned Miss Little Maine 2011. She performed a tap dance routine for her talent. She, along with Elizabeth Collins of Mapleton, tied for the interview portion of the competition. Paige Lessard of Biddeford won the essay contest, and Mackenzie Valentine of Greene was named Miss Photogenic.

Thirteen-year-old eighth grader Alexis Wintle, daughter of Dean and Kristen Wintle of Windham, was crowned Miss Young Teen Maine 2011. She sang and tap danced for her talent. Alexis also won the essay contest and the interview portion of the competition and was named Miss Photogenic.

Katherine Elliot, a sophomore at Scarborough High School and daughter of James and Beth Elliott of Scarborough, was crowned Miss Teen Maine 2011. She sang for her talent. Katie also won the essay contest and the interview portion of the competition and was named Miss Photogenic.
