FARMINGTON — Izaiha Tracy scored on a kick return, a punt return, a run and a pass reception, all in the first half Saturday, propelling Mt. Blue to a 64-33 Eastern Class B football rout of Morse at Kemp Field.
Mt. Blue (6-1) exploded to a 52-6 halftime lead, easily getting back on the winning track after last week’s loss to Leavitt.
Tracy started the scoring with a 1-yard run. His 50-yard punt return and Shawn Keach’s extra point made it 13-0.
Chad Luker scored from 12 yards out and Eric Berry returned an interception 42 yards to the end zone before Morse got on the board with Kevin McKellar’s 67-yard strike to Keegan Drouin.
Tracy answered with his 84-yard return of the ensuing kickoff for a 33-6 Cougars lead at the end of the first quarter.
Jordan Whitney (5-for-8, 90 yards) connected for TDs of 28 yards to Berry and 21 yards to Tracy. Bradley Jackson barreled in from a yard away prior to the half.
Wade Hunt’s 21-yard run and McKellar’s 1-yard connection with Dylan Harrington supplied the first two touchdowns of the second half for Morse (3-4).
Shane O’Neill ran for a TD and Nick Hyde returned a fumble for another Mt. Blue score.
McKellar completed 14 of 24 passes for 196 yards to lead the Shipbuilders.

BERWICK — Reggie Muchemore came across with a pair of touchdowns and Ryan Tobey booted a 22-yard field goal in the fourth quarter as Marshwood stayed just beyond reach of Spruce Mountain with an 18-13 victory in a football game Saturday.

But Marshwood tied it up when Muchemore ran back an 80-yard kickoff return and Tobey booted the extra point.
After a scoreless second quarter, Muchemore scored on a 40-yard run. Troy Pappas reeled off the two-point conversion pass to Nick James and Marshwood was ahead, 15-7, after the third quarter.
Tobey made good on his 22-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, but Spruce Mountain wasn’t done scoring. Bonnevie’s 38-yard pass to James Barker was good for touchdown, but the Phoenix’s pass for the extra two points failed.
