DIXFIELD — Police responded to 57 incidents from Oct. 4 to Oct. 18.
Thefts
* On Oct. 9 at 2:30 p.m. a Rollins Ridge Road resident reported someone had stolen a boat that was on his property after removing scrap metal that was stored inside the boat.
* On Oct. 10 at 3:15 p.m. a Weld Street resident reported someone had stolen her son’s Tony Hawk bicycle, estimated to be worth $100, from her car port.
Criminal mischief
* On Oct. 13 at 9:40 p.m. a Howard Street resident reported a maroon vehicle ran over his mail box. The resident has previously made complaints about vehicles driving on his lawn.
Arrests
* Christopher Knight, 34, of Dixfield, was arrested on Lincoln Avenue in Rumford Oct. 14 on charges of possessing a schedule X drug and domestic violence assault, which was elevated to a felony charge due to a previous domestic violence assault conviction. Knight was transported to the Oxford County Jail and was released on $400 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 8.
* David Wing, 35, of Dixfield, was arrested on Arsenault Drive just after midnight on Oct. 17 on charges of domestic violence assault which was elevated to a felony charge due to a previous domestic violence assault conviction. Wing was transported to Oxford County Jail and released on $1,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 16.
