AUBURN — On Monday, Oct. 10, Gertrude Fogg, 86, passed away after a brief illness.
Gertrude was born May 21, 1925, the daughter of Charles H. Cotton and Nellie Fisher. Gertrude was a kind, caring, hard working woman, with a soft spot for animals.
She worked at Arno Moccasin in Lewiston for 18 years. She was married to Ernest Fogg Sr. in 1942.
She was a resident of Turner from 1942 until her passing. She had a never give up spirit and a terrific sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth of Turner; her son, Ernest and his wife, Kathy, of St. Tropez, France; her grandchildren, Amanda Fogg of Turner, Kerrie and Greg Forget, of Buckfield, Micheal and Liza Fogg, of Poland and Joshua Fogg of Turner; great-grandchildren, Abbie, Noah, Rosie and Jacob; and her favorite niece, Penny Hudson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest.
