AUBURN — Candidates for City Council will square off Monday night at a forum in Auburn Hall.
Members of the Edward Little High School Speech and Debate team will ask the questions and Auburn police will host the debate, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in Auburn Hall.
All of the candidates for the seven open City Council seats have been invited, as has Jonathan LaBonte, the lone candidate for the mayor’s chair.
That includes all five candidates for the two open councilor-at-large seats: Belinda Gerry, J. Michael Lemay, Jeremiah Bartlett, Joshua Shea and Ronald Potvin. And two candidates for Ward 5 council seat: Evan Cyr and Leroy G. Walker Sr. And the unopposed candidates: Tizz Crowley in Ward 1, Robert Hayes in Ward 2, Mary Lafontaine in Ward 3 and David Young in Ward 4.
The debate will also be shown on Great Falls Television, channel 7 on Time Warner Cable, and streamed live on its website: www.greatfallstv.net.
