Harvest supper
FARMINGTON — The Old South First Congregational Church, UCC, Main Street, will hold its annual harvest supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. The buffet-style public supper will feature roast turkey and ham with all the fixings including beverages and homemade pies. Adults $9, children under 12 $6. All proceeds will benefit the Old South First Congregational Church’s 2012 Pilgrim Lodge Youth Campership program.
UMF arts show
FARMINGTON — University of Maine at Farmington will hold its annual Arts and Crafts Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, in the UMF Olsen Student Center on South Street.
More than 50 artists and crafters from across Maine, including many new artisans, will exhibit their original and creative works at the open-to-the-public sale. All items are handcrafted by the artists and include quilted clothing and handbags, jewelry, hand-painted items, fabric landscapes, baskets, wooden boxes, hand-knitted items, ornamental iron works, greeting cards, hand-sewn crafts, country crafts and wind chimes, baked goods, jams and jellies and more.

Holiday fair
JAY — Friends Together Peer Support and Recovery center members will hold a holiday fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at 70 Main St. There will be crafts, food, books and white elephant items for sale. There also will be a raffle on a turkey dinner basket, two other baskets and a doll.
Friends Together is a nonprofit organization serving mentally challenged people or those with other life challenges. Proceeds will help cover costs for activities held at the center or on day trips.

Food, crafts, supper
JAY — North Jay Grange 10 will hold a holiday food and craft sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov 5. A public supper will also be held from 4 to 6 p.m., with baked beans, casseroles, chicken pot pies, cranberry sauce, salads, cole slaw, beverages and dessert. Adults $7, 10 and under $3. LIVERMORE — The North Livermore Baptist Church will host a pot luck supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at 619 Federal Road. Attendees should bring a dish to share. Drinks and dessert provided. At 7 p.m. the LaClaires will perform their annual Livermore concert.

PHILLIPS — Phillips-Strong Lions Club will hold a benefit auction with auctioneer Adrian Harris at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Phillips Elementary School, Route 4.
