- Cary Bradbury, owner of Dixfield Discount Fuel, doused a fire on her porch with extinguishers from her house Tuesday night. She said she believed the fire started from an outside ashtray at her home at 36 Weld St. Dixfield and Peru Fire Departments responded but Bradbury said she had the fire out before they arrived.
