- Rumford police Sgt. Tracey Higley empties pills from one of several prescription bottles dropped off outside the police station on River Street during Maine’s Drug Take-Back Day. Higley and Detective Sgt. James Bernard disposed of pills and liquid medications and greeted passers-by for four hours on Saturday morning.
