- Mountain Valley High School Principal Matt Gilbert, right, presents the 2011-2012 NASSP/Herff Jones Principal’s Leadership Award nomination to Alex Parent. The nomination is based on leadership skills, participation in service organizations and clubs, achievements in the arts and sciences, employment experience and academic record. If selected, Parent is eligible for scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $12,000. Notification of selection will be in the spring.
