- The Western Maine Veterans Advisory Committee is preparing for the annual craft fair, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Maine Veterans’ Home, 477 High St., Paris. “This event is one of the major fundraisers that the group sponsors annually,” said Marilyn Ramsey, fair chairwoman. “We have 36 crafters coming to participate this year. There is a wide assortment of homemade items as well as baked goods and a lunch menu.” Proceeds will support the activities program at the 90-bed facility. For more information, call 743-6300.
