- Police responded to a single-car accident on Buckfield Road in Paris on Tuesday at 4 p.m. Paris officer Tim Gamache said the driver, Melissa Flagg of Buckfield, in her mid-30s, suffered a broken leg and a male passenger had minor injuries. “It’s unknown why, but (Flagg) went directly off the road and hit a tree,” Gamache said. She was transported to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway and transferred to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. Her Jeep Cherokee was a total loss.
