- The Waterford Congregational Church harvest supper was held at the Wilkins House on Oct. 29. Nineteen pumpkins were entered in the decorated pumpkin contest. Children and adults voted for their favorites by putting money in the dishes in front of each pumpkin. Lauren Hewson of Waterford was the winner; her creatively-painted pumpkin collected $30. Altogether, $295.75 was collected, which will be donated to Heifer International to buy livestock for a family.
