MEXICO — Thomas A. Ricci, 58, of Mexico Avenue died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 6, at his residence.
He was born in Rumford, March 23, 1953, a son of Michael and Cecilia (Shanahan) Ricci. Thomas attended schools in Mexico.
He was employed with Terry Bernard Construction Co. for many years, and was also a volunteer fireman with the Mexico Fire Department.
Thomas loved watching sports on TV and attending the mud races in Mexico.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed spending time at the American Legion and the VFW.
Surviving are a brother, Dennis L. Gelhar of Oxford; two sisters, Margaret L. Swan of Sherman and Shirley Schultz and husband, William, of Meridian, Idaho; four nieces, Christa DeVega, Sonya Bisson, Tracy Mintz and Terri Bruce; and four nephews, Todd Swan, David Gelhar, Daniel Gelhar and Steven Gelhar.
He was predeceased by his parents.
