- Rodney Abbott, representing the Oxford County Educators Association, Retired, presents Dean Bennett’s “The Lake Loon” to the Whitman Memorial Library board of trustees in Bryant Pond. This is the second annual gift from that group, which is sponsoring a program called Maine Books for Maine Kids. They are donating to all the libraries with a children’s section in Oxford County.
