RANGELEY — The Police Department will beef up its patrols during the upcoming holiday season.

“We received a grant from the Maine Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Highway Safety for increased patrol between Thanksgiving and New Year’s,” Chief Dennis Leahy said Tuesday.

The grant is for about $3,000, he said.
