WEST PARIS – The First Universalist Church of West Paris has announced worship services for the month of December. Services are presented by a combination of Worship Service Committee members and guest speakers. All are welcome to attend; services are 9 a.m. every Sunday until mid-June.
Dec. 4: First Principle of the Seven Unitarian Universalist Principles: The inherent worth and dignity of every person. Church Worship Committee; service led by Pam Burke. The committee will lead a series of services with the theme of principles. The next one will take place in January (Justice, equality, and compassion in human relations.)
Dec. 11: Living an Undivided Life, The Rev. Sarah Shepley will return as a guest speaker. Shepley resides in the western hills and, in addition to being a minister, she is also an artist.
Dec. 18: Grandparents, Cindy Reedy. Reedy has been a guest speaker many times at the church. She invites all who attend to share a grandparent story.
Dec. 24: Candlelight Services, a celebration of hymns and Christmas carols; the service is led by the Worship Committee, and starts at 6 p.m.
