WINTHROP — Ben Thomas, author of four nonfiction books, including the best-seller, “No Horns Blowing,” will appear at the Bailey Public Library on Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Thomas will discuss his most recent book, “Scuba Gold,” a follow-up to “Code Breaker” featuring high-school students attempting to solve a World War II code.

Thomas is former guidance director of Winthrop High School, a master Maine Guide, a pilot and a ham radio operator.

Books will be available for purchase and signing at the 6:30 p.m. event through Apple Valley Books. Admission is free. For more information, call 377-8673.
