LISBON FALLS – On Sept. 24, the Lisbon High School Class of 2014, along parent volunteers, participated in the third annual Town of Lisbon Harvest Festival.
Thanks to the numerous donations of stuffed animals from Lisbon School volunteers and a community partnerships with members of the Lewiston Rotary, students hosted the former Lisbon Rotary’s famous “duck pond.” Students also offered festival goers fresh popcorn. Proceeds from the two events will benefit the students with the Project Graduation program and other events that are not included in the school budget.
“Thanks to combined efforts of students, parent volunteers Lisa Caron, Christie Clifford, Roxie Dobson and Maureen King and all of the donations of stuffed critters,” said Monica Millhime, Class of 2014 adviser, “students raised $300 toward their Project Graduation event.”
