OSWEGO, N.Y. — Michelle E. Hamann of Peru recently graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree. Hamann graduated magna cum laude and received the Outstanding Senior Award and SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence, among others. The Chancellor’s Award is the highest student recognition within the State University of New York system.

Upon graduation, she accepted a position as an audit associate for one of the big four accounting firms, KPMg. KPMg provides audit, tax and advisory services throughout 144 countries.

Michelle graduated from Dirigo High School and is the daughter of Roger and Joan Hamann of Peru.
