Fill the cupboard
JAY — A Fill the Cupboard Food Drive will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Dec. 9 to 11, at Jay Plaza.
Donations will go to the Tri-Town Ministerial Food Cupboard. Needed the most are nonperishable foods items and money. Checks must be made out to the Tri-Town Ministerial Food Cupboard.
Volunteers are needed to help the days of the drive.

The food cupboard is located at Eaton United Methodist Church, 28 Church St., Livermore Falls. Hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays.
Genealogy meeting
FARMINGTON — The Sandy River Valley Chapter, MGS, will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Farmington Public Library.
The topic will be an explanation of what information can be found in funeral home records that will be helpful to the genealogist. The speaker will be someone from Dan and Scott’s Cremation and Funeral Service. Anyone with an interest in genealogy is welcome to attend.
Teen choir to appear
FARMINGTON — Teen Challenge Choir will be at Living Waters at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11. The members are from a variety of backgrounds, ages and upbringings.
Their program of music and personal testimonies aim to bring hope to all who hear them. There will be a luncheon after the service and everyone is welcome. For more information, call 778-6190 or 491-1205. There is a bus available for rides.
Rudolph night
FAYETTE — Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Night will be celebrated from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Fayette Central School, 2023 Main St.
“Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” the movie, will be shown and children will meet Santa. They will also make a reindeer craft and have snacks. Everyone is invited.
Cost is $3 a person or $10 a family. For more information, contact Jen at 685-4172. All proceeds will benefit the Fayette School and Home Association.
