SABATTUS — The Dominican Sisters are conducting three fundraising campaigns to benefit Loaves & Fishes. Letters are being sent out to businesses and individuals for the first capital fundraising campaign to raise funds to help the expected rise in demands for oil and other winter needs in the area. January calendars are ready for a suggested donation of $5. Participants have 22 chances to win $25 throughout January. These calendars make excellent stocking stuffers.
Another great gift idea is the Loaves & Fishes 300 Club. By purchasing a ticket, members of the club can win $1,000 every second Sunday of the month. In order for this to work, exactly 300 members are needed. The group is now taking names of potential new ticket holders. All three fundraisers end Jan. 31.
