- Veteran performer Heather Pierson will host the Norway Open Mic Night for the last time on Friday, Dec. 23. Norway Open Mic Night has brought friends and strangers together in a relaxed, family-friendly and noncompetitive atmosphere on the last Friday of every month since its humble beginnings in January 2002 in the performance hall of the First Universalist Church of Norway, 479 Main St. Sign-up for people performing music, poetry or comedy begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the open mic at about 7 o’clock.
