DIXFIELD — Tom and Pam Child of Dixfield are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Teresa Child, to Joshua Lee Murphy, son of John and Jaye Murphy of Leeds.

Miss Child is a graduate of Dirigo High School and the University of Maine in Farmington. She is currently employed with RSU10 at Meroby Elementary School as a fourth grade teacher.

Mr. Murphy is a graduate of Leavitt High School and the University of New England. He is currently employed as a health coach at Occupational Medical Consulting in Leeds.

The wedding will be held Aug. 4 at Holy Savior Church, with a reception to follow at Sunday River.
