We finally agree with something Gov. Paul LePage said in making it clear he would not seek a federal waiver from the Department of Health and Human Services until the Legislature says it wants that: “Well, put me in jail …” (Dec. 17, “LePage budget tied to DHHS”).

Yes, let’s follow the governor’s wishes and put him away so that responsible people in Augusta can get on with the business of the state of Maine and its people.
