BOSTON, Mass. — George Michael Lindsey, 68, of Poland, died Dec. 18, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
He was born March 1, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., a son of James Edwin and Mary E. (McCarty) Lindsey. George was a 1961 graduate of Framingham High School and a 1969 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
George worked in the transportation field as a sales broker for the past 30 years.
George was a member of the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club and was an amateur gunsmith. He liked to travel and particularly enjoyed the southwest. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed skiing and fishing as a young person.
Surviving are his mother, Mary E. Lindsey of Hopkinton, Mass., also formerly of Fayville, Mass.; two sons, David Lindsey and his wife, Kristina, of Cumberland and Michael Lindsey of South Florida; two sisters, Jennifer R. Roberts of Hopkinton, Mass., and Mary E. Snow of Pasadena, Calif.; two brothers, James E. Lindsey and his wife, Saralyn, of Mystic, Conn., and William D. Lindsey and his wife, Maureen, of Medway, Mass.; and four grandchildren, Nicole, Daniel, Michaela and Emma.
He was predeceased by his father.
