EAST WILTON — Bonnie Beth Hill, 70, of East Wilton, formerly of the greater Hartford area, died Jan. 2, at her son’s home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Hartford, Conn., Sept. 3, 1941, a daughter of Robert C. and Lorna (Hills) Hill. She grew up in Manchester and Stafford Springs, where she graduated from high school. She married Alexander Zlotnick and they had five children.
Ms. Hill worked as a waitress for many years at Howard Johnson as a teenager and later at G. Fox and retired from the Hartford Golf Club when she moved to Maine to live with her son and daughter.
She is survived by her former husband of Ashford, Conn.; their children, Andrew and his wife, Janice, of Glastonbury, Conn., Terry of Wilton, Ken and his wife, Laurie, of Maplewood, N.J., Nicolas and his wife, Carissa, of Columbia, Conn., and Sherrie of Wilton; a sister, Eladonis Hill of Marlborough, Conn.; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; and a sister, Charlotte Welton of Florida.
