LITCHFIELD — The Smithfield Plantation Board of Trustees meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at the Litchfield Town Office.

Cribbage league

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Dec. 29 were: first place, Cecile LeBlond and Dick Dennis; second place, Terry chambers and Aaron Burke; third place, Donna Aube and Steve Agurkis; fourth place, Lorraine Fillion and Bryan Lambert; fifth place, Val Asselin and Mike Martin.

Fortier council

LEWISTON — The Dr. Paul J. Fortier Council 52 of the Royal Arcanum- ACA Division will gather at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, in the Senior Citizens room of the Multi-Purpose Center. AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Alden M. Gayton Post 31 American Legion, 426 Washington St.

The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. There will be installation of officers for 2012.

Tickets for the Valentine party on Feb. 8 will be on sale for $5. Dues must be paid in order to attend. Bingo will be played after a bag lunch.

Fifty-three members gathered for a Christmas party on Dec. 14 at Ramada Inn. After dinner the group was entertained by Jan Byron with karaoke. Pot of gold winners were Roger Briggs, Irene Fraser, Caroline Chapman, Carmela Hewit, Charles Berube, Anna Gavel, Mary Tassinari, Alwin Strout and Evelyn Sawin.
