PARIS — The Mollyockett Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold its first 2012 member/guest meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the 1st Congregational Church in Market Square.

The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. with fly-tying instruction. Vises, tools and materials will be available, or attendees can bring their own.

At 7 p.m., guest speaker Rod McGarry, a board certified master fly casting instructor and a Registered Maine Guide who has been on the L.L. Bean instructional team for the past 12 years, will discuss “Fly Fishing: Tough and Tactical or Easy and Innovative?”

The Mollyockett Chapter is made up of members throughout Western Maine and beyond.
