RUMFORD — Rumford Senior Citizens had a great Christmas party, featuring music, great meal and door prizes.
The group would like to remind all members that 2012 dues are due.
The board will meet a 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18. Membership meeting will be held at 10 a.m. The group will be planning a supper at that time.
Members are needed to help plan trips, suppers and other events. Ideas are welcomed.
Bingo games are held every Wednesday from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Anna Shaw is planning a Washington D.C. trip for April 26 to May 1. The cost is $459. The bus will leave from the center at 8 a.m. A deposit of $75 is required as a sign up. A minimum of 30 people is needed. Final payment is due by Feb. 19. Call Anna at 364-3164 or the senior center at 364-4700.
A possible trip to Indian Head for St. Patrick’s Day is planned. More information will be forthcoming. The usual St. Pat’s meal will be on the menu.
