RANGELEY — Proceeds from this winter’s “Diva Show,” scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 27-28, at Moose Alley, will be used to set up a scholarship for a graduating senior.

Carolyn Smith and Terry Martin of Rangeley created the “Diva Show” with a local group of performing artists. This group has continued to create a show for a summertime audience. Cat Productions produces an annual winter show.

“To The Moon” is the theme for this year’s winter event. Barney Martin, a member of the Maine Hysterical Society and the Coos Canyon Band, will take on the character of Ralph Kramden of the Honeymooners. Smith as co-host will share comedic wit in her role as Kramden’s wife, Alice.

Pam Ellis, artistic director of her school of dance, Lakeside Dance Company, is organizing a dance troupe, called the Rangeley WOW Dancers, for the show.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce, 864 5364. Seating is limited.
