FREEMAN TOWNSHIP — Rebecca Louise “Becca” Maiuri, 20, of Wilton, died as a result of injuries sustained in a single car accident in Freeman Township on Sunday, Jan. 8.

She was born Nov. 10, 1991, in Norway, the daughter of Roger Downs II and Tiffany Maiuri. She received her GED at Mt. Blue Adult Education and completed her CNA in 2011 at Mt. Blue High School. A very compassionate, kind young woman, she enjoyed working as a CNA for MAS, a Bangor-based home health agency. Not yet completely content with her career choice, she recently entered Empire Beauty School in Waterville to become a beautician/cosmetologist.

She was musically gifted; she played the flute and had a beautiful singing voice. She was also physically fit, enjoying exercising, snowboarding, swimming, kayaking and camping. Becca was bright, intelligent, loving and full of energy.

She leaves her father, Roger Downs II and his wife, Maryanne, of Ocala, Fla.; her mother, Tiffany Maiuri of Wilton; her biological mother, Diane Downs of South Paris; her son, Gabriel James Keith of Farmington; her maternal grandparents, Peggy and Lee Querze of Bedford, Mass.; her paternal grandparents, Roger and Elizabeth Downs of West Sumner and Billie Brough of Norway; two brothers, Roger Downs III of South Paris and Aiden Gammon of Sumner; six sisters, Amy Thompson and Taimyia Joseph, both of Wilton, Tia Lamasters of Lewiston, Shelby Downs of Harrison, Monica Downs of Norway and Taylor Gammon of Sumner; two nephews; one niece; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Condolences and tributes may be shared with her family on her memorial wall at www.wilesrc.com.
