The Phillips Library Dragon will emerge from hibernation to lead a Chinese New Year celebratory parade at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, starting at the library. All are invited to dress in colorful clothes and bring noisemakers, as the parade wends its way to the Community Center on Depot Street to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. There will be a bonfire, hot drinks and snacks, games to bring luck and lighting of paper lanterns to float into the night sky. The ice skating rink will be open, with loaner skates available.
