LITCHFIELD — Francena L. Desrochers, 66, of Maxwell Road, died Sunday, Jan. 22, at her home.
She was born in Camp Blanding, Fla., Aug. 2, 1945, a daughter of Harold and Francena (Jonhnson) Seger.
Francena married the love of her life, Raymond J. Desrochers on April 20, 1963. She worked for many years as the activity director at The Lamp Nursing Home, a job she truly loved and looked forward to every day. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus.
Francena was a self-taught computer whiz. She enjoyed taking rides to the ocean, and loved being with her family.
Francena was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, she was a true best friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her.
She leaves her husband of 48 years, Raymond Desrochers of Litchfield; her mother, Francena Seger of Lewiston; three daughters, Lorraine Hughes, Arline Desrochers and Angela Desrochers of Litchfield; a son, Joseph Desrochers and his wife, Mary, of Ohio; three grandsons, Nicholas Hughes, Ryan and Corey Hawkins; and two brothers, Wayne Seger and his wife, Marcia, of Lewiston and Edward Seger and his wife, Kathleen, of Turner.
She was predeceased by her father, Harold; and her brother, Robert Seger.
Although, her spirit will remain with us alway her presence is truly missed.
