- Senior Private Don Nadeau recently retired from the Lewiston Fire Department after a career of 26½ years. He entered the department in July of 1985 and spent most of his duty days at the Sabattus and Main Street stations. He was introduced to his wife one night at the Lisbon Street fire station 25 years ago this year. They reside in Minot. His spare time will be taken up at home by caring for three abused horses from the Windham Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
