On Nov. 14, Sam Fuller of Winthrop presented the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society with the donations from his ninth birthday party. Sam, a third-grade student at the Winthrop Grade School, asked for donations for the pets in lieu of gifts. The items donated will help with the care of the thousands of homeless animals the Humane Society helps each year.
