- A Chevrolet SUV caught fire Wednesday in a garage at 179 Cottage St. in Paris. Paris fire Deputy Chief William Buffington said the blaze damaged the ceiling of the garage but firefighters stopped it from spreading. In April 2011, a fire at the same address burned down the home of Dale Brackett, who Buffington said still owns the property.
